Online Therapy Across California and Hawaii for Anxiety and Stress
Internal Family Systems Therapy
An evidence-based, somatic model for healing and lasting change
You’re tired of worrying all the time. From the moment you wake up, your mind is already spinning—replaying conversations, planning for worst-case scenarios, and scanning for what could go wrong next. Even when nothing “big” is happening, it feels impossible to relax.
The voice of self-doubt doesn’t stop. It tells you you’re not doing enough, not good enough, or that somehow it’s all your fault. On the outside, life might look fine, but on the inside, you’re worn down by the constant hum of anxiety.
You may have tried therapy before, but it felt focused on short-term coping. Breathing exercises, thought reframes, reminders to “let it go.” Helpful in the moment, but not enough to quiet the deeper fears and patterns that keep resurfacing. You’re ready for more than coping—you want to get to the root of your worry and finally feel calm, steady, and present in your life.

heal what’s stuck
How does IFS therapy work?
Anxiety isn’t just in your mind—it lives in your body, keeping your nervous system on high alert even when nothing is wrong.
In IFS therapy, we slow down and notice where anxiety shows up—like tightness in your chest, a racing heart, or swirling thoughts. By bringing awareness to these sensations, you interrupt the cycle of fear and tension.
Instead of pushing anxiety away, IFS helps you relate to it differently. This shift calms survival-mode responses and activates the brain’s pathways for regulation and choice.
Over time, the anxious parts of you feel safe enough to relax, leaving you more grounded, clear, and able to meet life with calm.
What happens in an IFS session?
Have you ever said something like, “A part of me feels nervous, but another part of me feels excited”?
That’s often how we know these inner parts exist—they’re like different sides of you, each trying to help in its own way.
In IFS Therapy, we talk about our thoughts and feelings, and we listen to them
In an IFS session, we bring our focus inward—
slowing down to notice the different parts of you that show up as thoughts, feelings, or body sensations.
Instead of pushing them away, we listen with curiosity and compassion. This process can feel like an active meditation, and as your parts feel heard and understood, they begin to relax—helping you feel more calm, clear, and grounded in your daily life.
One of the unique strengths of IFS is that it can become a practice you take with you between sessions.
Unlike some somatic therapies that rely primarily on in-session techniques, IFS gives you tools to notice your own thoughts, feelings, and body sensations in daily life.
By pausing and turning inward with curiosity, you can continue building a compassionate relationship with yourself outside the therapy room. This ongoing practice helps deepen the work, making IFS both a therapeutic model and a lifelong skill for calming your nervous system and responding to stress with greater clarity.
I have dedicated the past 8 years of my life to the practice of IFS as a client and it has transformed my life in ways I never thought possible. It is what moved me to shift from a Cognitive and Behavioral approach to a Somatic approach to therapy and I am a more confident and helpful therapist because of it. I wanted my clients to experience the same experiential changes in their lives as I did in mine.
I have witnessed those changes IFS and parts works has had on the clients I have worked with over the past 5 years since I started in private practice. And I plan to keep offering this healing resource to as many people as I can.
It’s time to feel calmer, clearer, and more connected.
I am so happy you found me here, I look forward to connecting with you to see how I can help.
